Description

With a law degree from Geneva and Fribourg universities, Alexia Morel was admitted to the bar in 2017. She worked for several years in a notaries' office, then with local law firms specialising in litigation, before joining Bory & Partners in 2020 as an associate of Corinne Nerfin. She became a partner on 1 January 2024.

Alexia Morel specialises in family, inheritance and criminal law, as well as adult and child protection. She also advises clients on immigration law and debt collection and enforcement proceedings.

Alexia Morel acts as a custodian for persons protected by measures of the Court for the Protection of Adults, as well as for minors.

She advises and represents clients in the Geneva and Vaud cantons, as well as in international matters.

Alexia Morel favours direct contact with her clients and seeking transactional solutions, particularly in family matters where circumstances allow.

In addition to her professional activities, Alexia Morel is very active in local politics in Geneva and currently sits on the Corsier municipal council. In 2019, she set up a legal office in her municipality, as well as support committees for refugees.

Alexia Morel is a member of the Swiss Bar Association and the Geneva Bar Association.
