Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1984

After a training period at Bernheim, Ming, Gouzer-Waechter & Halpérin, Laurence Bory worked as an associate of Jean-Eric Combe and Christiane de Senarclens until 1994, when she opened her own law firm. In 2002, she joined forces with Emmanuel Ducrest. They were later joined by Corinne Nerfin, Jacques Berta and Bernd Reinmüller.

Laurence Bory specialises in legal counsel, particularly in contract and corporate law, the organisation and management of assets, inheritance law and adult guardianship.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, she has been heavily involved in the International Lawyers Association (UIA), an NGO accredited to the UNO, the Council of Europe and the International Criminal Court, representing nearly two million lawyers worldwide through its individual and collective members.

Within this organisation, she has held the positions of President of the banking law Commission (1995-1998), Secretary general of the association (1998-2003), President of the Geneva congress (2004), President of the Association (2016-2017) and was appointed Honorary President in 2018. She currently represents the association at the UNO in Geneva.

Laurence Bory is closely involved in her home town and is a member of the Coppet Communal Council and President of Entente Communale Coppet.

She has also been very active for over 35 years in the Lions Club Genève-Lac, the first women's club in Switzerland, of which she is a founding member.

Laurence Bory is a member of various professional associations, including the Swiss Bar Association, the Geneva Bar Association, the Geneva Business Law Association and the International Lawyers Association (UIA).
